Dear Sirs
Please could you clarify whether fly ash and bottom ash from Coal Power Station are schedule waste or not? If they are schedule waste, what is the schedule waste code they categorised under?
Also, similarly, please could you clarify whether palm oil fuel ash from incinerating palm oil husks by palm oil mills is schedule waste or not?
Thanks.

Dear Dr. Ng Tian Sing,
Referring to your email below, please be informed that fly ash and bottom ash from coal power plant are classified as scheduled waste under code SW 104, Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005. Hence, the management of these wastes shall be as stipulated in the above mentioned Regulations.
