Federal Government agencies have to provide online public engagement  for all drafts of new proposal or law amendment (including by-law, policy, rule, and other), no matter whether new proposal or amendment need to be presented in Parliament or not. Therefore, this website is prepared for public consultation and will display the drafts of amendments or newly formulated Legislations / Rules / Regulations / Order under the Environmental Quality Act 1974. These drafts will be displayed in DOE’s Website for 14 days. Public are encouraged to give opinion and feedback to the Department of Environment during this period.
