Hello,
I have a question, not a complaint and this was the only e-mail I could find.
I am inquiring from the US. We have a company in Malaysia that supports all computer OEMs. Some of the computer equipment is considered aged and may be improperly classified as waste. Is there anything we can put on our paperwork to indicate that this material is not waste?
Thank you,
Kate Erickson

Dear Sir,
In malaysia, used electrical and electronic equipment or components is defined as waste (e-waste) if that equipmet/components more that three years from the date of manufactured. If the equipment or components which are less than three years from the date of manufactured that are functioning and destined for direct re-use, and not for recycling or recovery or final disposal then is not categorised as e-waste.
Hope this clarifies your concerns.
