Dear Sir,
For your information, I am from Chemical Company of Malaysia (Fertilizer Division), one of the leading fertilizer manufacturer in Malaysia. We are currently conducting a study on aerial fertilizer application for oil palm plantation in Malaysia. In regards to that, is there any regulation that we need to comply for such activity to be implemented from environment stand of point? Hope to get some information from you on these matter. Thank you.

Dear En. Ahmad,
Fertilizer usage in plantation is not in DOE’s law and regulation. However you may have to look an the surroundings and the sensitive receptors (houses, schools nearby) of the particular area whether it will directly affect them or is there any water body nearby that has beneficial uses. We would suggest if your company to refer to Department of Agriculture for this matter.
